Its one of those once in a lifetime kind of places. Where you go on a whim and hope like hell its worth it, and boy was it what. Looking back at the photos – I long for a day there again. It was like a dream world in winter. Five hours of daylight & the rest was darkness. But those five hours were sunrise & sunset all in one – a fairytale almost. Simply stunning.
Blue Lagoon, Reykjavík, Geysir, Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Vik, Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. It was like a land which has yet to be discovered. We drove for hours. Snow storms, zero light, ice as thick as the windscreen. It was madness & and wonderland all at the same time. I’m in love and I need to go back.
